Yes, I&J are tour­ing once mores and will be per­form­ing near you! Well, if you live near one of the places where they are tour­ing, that is.
And if not, why not take a lit­tle trip to Lon­don to see them in Cado­gan Hall on the 9. of march for their U.K. debut, War­saw on the 23. of march for the Poland debut or visit them in Chicago, where they will per­form with spe­cial guests Emanuel Ax on the 26th of May as part of the Chicago Sym­phony Series? And for the ulti­mate “night­mare”, try Hol­ly­wood Bowl on the 6th of Sep­tem­ber, where I&J will be joined by the Los Ange­les Phil­har­monic for a few num­bers. Igudes­man and Joo will be ded­i­cat­ing the “World Record for the most Danc­ing Vio­lin­ists” to UNICEF-Austria, in cel­e­bra­tion of their 50th Anniver­sary! Happy Birthday!
The duo is invit­ing all vio­lin­ists on Decem­ber 31st 2011 to ring in the new year and cel­e­brate UNICEF-Austria’s 50th anniver­sary, by play­ing and­danc­ing on the stage of Großer Saal, Wiener Konz­erthaus. Igudes­man & Joo plan to have 100 vio­lin­ists per­form­ing their arrange­ment and chore­og­ra­phy of Morrison’s Jig, ‘con­ducted’ by leg­endary Bond actor and UNICEF Good­will Ambas­sador, Sir Roger Moore, sup­ported by Julian Rach­lin and more!
